2 Covid-19 patients die in Lucena

LUCENA CITY -- Two of the 13 confirmed cases of Covid-19 in Quezon province have died, according to information released by the Provincial Information Office on Monday.
The two mortalities are a 55-year-old male from Candelaria town, with history of travel to Laguna; and a 79-year-old male from Unisan town who had traveled to Lucena.
The remaining Covid-19 patients in Quezon are from Lucena City - six; Tayabas City - two; Sariaya - two; and Sampaloc - one.
Meanwhile, the public market here was again opened to the public after eight days of closure to give way to disinfection measures by the city government.
The city police is strictly implementing the mandatory wearing of face masks by residents whenever they go out to buy food and medicines. (PNA)
